ABSTRACT:

The growing number of young offenders is the reason why the juvenile justice system is so important. The most susceptible group to deceit is children. The nation's future lies with its children. These will determine the future of India. Therefore, the country needs to safeguard them from a negative social environment and provide for their rehabilitation. As a result, they should have access to the greatest rehabilitative options available. The Partap Singh case established certain guidelines for the adoption of a more effective method for it. According to the JJ Act of 2015, a juvenile who is proven to have participated in a heinous crime will be treated as an adult and will be subject to the adult legal systems procedures. This paper delves deeply into the justifications for the regulations.
