A Critical Analysis Of How “Made In India” Will Be The New “Made In China”

ABSTRACT


Make in India is an initiative which was launched on September 25, 2014, to facilitate investment, foster innovation, building best in class infrastructure, and make India a hub for manufacturing, design, and innovation. The development of a robust manufacturing sector continues to be a key priority of the Indian Government. The stand-up India programme was also followed by the startup campaign announced in January 2016. The programme is aimed at promoting bank financing for start-up ventures to boost entrepreneurship and encourage Job creation and restrict the role of states in the policy domain. Many more programmes were initiated by the government which are effectively improving our economy.


This research paper analyses the various initiatives taken by the government to protect and promote Indian start-ups. A comparative study of Indian start- ups and start-ups in China. The various plans and schemes that have been taken by the government towards achieving make in India. The need for Startups and their importance. The impact of startups on the future of the country. A comparison of the growth of start-ups around the world and India. The paper also focuses on what measures the Government can take to achieve make in India.
