Adoption Rights Of LGBTQ+ Community

ABSTRACT:


The LGBTQ+ acronym stands for lesbian, gay, transgender, queer, and others. It is used to represent a diverse community of individuals with non- heteronormative sexual orientations and gender identities. This research paper explores the rights and challenges faced by LGBTQ couples on the context of ADOPTION. In recent years, there has been a substantial shift in societal attitudes towards LGBTQ+ couples, leading to significant legal advancements in their rights. This study seeks to provide a comprehensive analysis of the legal, social and ethical dimensions surrounding LGBTQ+ couples adoption rights. This paper also explores the challenges being faced by LGBTQ+ couples to adopt children and survive in society as “respectable family”. LGBTQ+ couples are facing challenges during adoption process such as bias stereotypes and discriminatory practices. Ultimately this research paper advocates for continued advancement of LGBTQ+ rights and elimination of discriminatory practices in adoption and the legal system.
