INTRODUCTION


The medical profession is one of the noblest professions. The doctors have to take such important decisions regarding the treatment of the patient. One wrong decision may risk the life of the patient. In India, around 52 lac injuries are recorded every year out of which 98,000 lose their lives due to medical negligence.1 Thus, doctors are required to take proper care, because a slightest mistake can have life- altering effects on the patient.
