The Honourable High Court examined the concept of “intermediary” in the Information Technology Act to determine if any corporation that operates an e-commerce website immediately falls within the definition of intermediary. This judgement is a significant step in evaluating the intermediary's culpability and their protection under section 79 of the IT Act
