Shyam Saxena & Krishna Kant Gothwal, KIIT School of Law

ABSTRACT

The election and democracy must go hand in hand as both are very important aspects for the freedom of the country and freedom of the individual. But with the changing times, the criminalization of politics has been considered as the biggest problem. The candidates having criminal antecedents though are winners but the trust has been the problem as the main of the election and democracy is to serve the needs of the people as the trustworthy candidates having a good experience is the ones who each constituency needs.
