ABSTRACT


Biomedical Waste (BMW) is any waste produced during the Diagnosis, treatment, or Immunization of human or Animal research activities pertaining thereto or in the production or testing of biological or in health Camps. My Objective is to find out how are the medi-waste practices are carried out in India, To find out whether are there any legislations initiated by our government for Medi-waste Management, & To Create awareness among the people regarding the bio medical waste management, To find out the strategies to achieve effective Medi waste management practices. The author has 202 samples collected. The researcher has followed the Empirical Research method. The Scope of having a very efficient management of medi- waste that is said to be produced due to the Existence of medical science & its developing needs is purely in the hands of the ruling government of India & various countries & people whose cooperation is necessary to achieve this big feat of any nation.
