Discussing The Concept And Importance Of Domestic Enquiry

ABSTRACT

A Domestic enquiry is search for truth, facts or circumstances concerning charge alleges by the employer against its employee, it is an enquiry created by the management against its own employee who allegedly committed certain acts of misconduct and where a workman is accused of misconduct a domestic enquiry has to be held against him in accordance with the provisions contained in the standing order governing the Industrial establishment or in the absence of such standing order with the principles of natural justice After such a domestic enquiring is held it would be open to the employer to impose a penalty including one of termination of service.
