ABSTRACT

There is a rapid progression in the advancement of technology in the globalization era along with its economic, social, political development and it is facilitated to reduce the burdens of the modern world. The Internet is considered to be a perfect symbol for globalization as it creates a technological evolution ignoring the geographical barriers. However, the consumers are constrained to face issues with e-commerce transactions such as jurisdictional, privacy and other issues. Privacy is considered to be one of the most urgent issues that needs to be addressed while dealing with information technology. Digital media, communication, speech and expression are some of the basic liberties that are inevitable for every citizen. This Paper attempts and furthers to analyze and collocate the technological advancement with the fundamental liberties of citizens.
