Yatharthi Sharma, B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), Graphic Era Hill University

ABSTRACT

This research paper examines Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's also known as the Iron Man of India, early legal career in rallying Indians to fight for the freedom struggle and his vision for the India today. Prior to becoming a prominent figure in Indian politics, Patel had made a name for himself as a skilled and principled legal practitioner. This paper seeks to assess the characteristics of his legal work, the advocacy abilities he exhibited in court, and the ethical and philosophical foundations of his legal approach which later shaped his political path. Patel’s professional journey in law, leading to the lawful resistance strategies, and his advocacy philosophy collectively illustrate the interconnectedness of legal expertise and political leadership.
