Legalization Of Prostitution In India And Its Impact On Society

ABSTRACT


Prostitution is as older as culture, and it has been a proportion of Indian society after the beginning of the concept of wedding. Prostitution has recently become associated with cruelty, differentiation, and manipulation. In Indian society, prostitution is often seen as an unlawful subject, and the necessary awareness has not been remunerate to its modulation. This research investigates the link between prostitution and manipulation and cruelty, as well as the potential outcome of prostitution's legitimization and modulation on manipulation and assault of prostitute. Prostitution has been legalized through various acts by post and pre independence, as well as through various books and journals. While these service look at a wider ingredient of the issue, this research paper focuses on two specific aspects. Whether or not it is criminalized, prostitution is here to stay. As a result, it is preferable to find solutions to the issues that women and children in faces in prostitution.
