Navigating The Cosmos: A Comprehensive Analysis Of Indian Space Policy 2023

ABSTRACT


‘This study aims to study and examine the Indian Space Policy 20231. This study tries to uncover the various aspects of Indian Space Policies and its development since post-independence period. The study talks about the development in Space Policies, formation of Indian National Committee for Space Research which later came to be known as Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and its contribution to Indian Space Policy. The study aims to examine the Indian Space Policy 2023, it focuses on its historical background, advantages, disadvantages, impact on space economy. This study also focuses on the growth of space startups in the last decade and in the future. This article aims to critically analyze the Indian Space Policy of 2023.


This analysis covers India’s shift from a primarily civilian space program to a more diversified approach, including the growing space industry. Moreover, this study also emphasizes India’s position in Space diplomacy, security, and sustainability. It also explores India’s position in the worldwide space community as a result of its strategic partnership with global space agencies and private entities. This emphasizes the significance on indigenous technological advancements, showcasing how India has created and implemented satellites for space observations, communication, navigation, and scientific study, it delves further into government’s initiatives to foster innovation and entrepreneurship within the space sector or industry, building a strong ecosystem that extends beyond the governmental agencies. As India continues to make progress in space exploration, this study offers valuable insights into the policy framework that studies its endeavors and the potential impact on the international space arena’
