ABSTRACT
The essay tries to suggest the future strategies for political and economic sectors of India. Seeing how the country is developing at a rapid pace it only seemed fitting to comment on the two of the significant diplomatic strategies to be formulated to stay on the top of your game. It is the decade of India and lately the country has been adopting many leadership roles. With the upcoming elections, despite the results there will be drastic changes. So the strategies should be flexible and nimble enough to accommodate both the domestic and foreign changes. This paper suggests that India should act west both politically and economically considering the Chinese and Russian fiasco in Asian regime. The Indo-pacific ties with the west have to be strengthened and India should lead such ties and talks. In spite of certain wavering stands by countries like France, India should not give up on the ties with EU and US rather it should strengthen them and exploit the economic concerns.
