Potential Threats To The Intellectual Property Rights Of Employees Due To Artificial Intelligence

ABSTRACT


One of the disruptive technologies that bring in a lot of new technological problems and which causes a lot of difficulties is known as Artificial Intelligence. One of the main problems it causes is that the issue arising on whether Intellectual property rights be given to the inventor or author who is an AI. By giving such reputation to Artificial Intelligence might cause risk to that interest of the workers. At present the employees are benefited from statutory guarantees which appreciates their creative work. The regulations and guidelines in the present time helps the inventors and the creators to get fair recognition and motivates them to do more creative works. There might arise various situations where the employees will be underestimated due to the development of Artificial Intelligence. The present Articles discusses on few main circumstances. They involve creation of a product by Artificial Intelligence must not be protected, Rights to Artificial Intelligence, Employer Rights must be allocated. All these issues are dealt by standing in the shoes of the employees.
