Shikhar Mishra, Faculty of Law, Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal (M.P.)

ABSTRACT

Fast-moving technological progress threatens privacy rights as we enter the digital age. The enhancement of convenience by technological innovations has generated new privacy-related concerns about data protection alongside surveillance procedures and consent management standards. This article examines how privacy rights have developed while analysing the regulatory structures for data protection and significant court rulings and the influence Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data possess on current privacy dynamics. The research employs legal instrument analyses of domestic and international sources to explore modern privacy rights frameworks.
