ABSTRACT

In this article, the role that ethics can play in preventing violence against women has been explored. Women have been subjected to violence in its worst form. There are sociological, cultural, and political reasons for such violence against women. Women have been subjected to physical, emotional, and sexual violence. There are various laws which deal with the subject of violence against women, but the plight of women is still continuing, and there is a requirement to do something more than just enacting laws. Ethics can play a very important role in averting crime against women.
