ABSTRACT
Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) have become prevalent in the public sector banking domain in India, heralding significant transformations in the banking landscape. This paper provides a comprehensive legal analysis of M&A activities within Indian public sector banks. It examines the regulatory framework, legal provisions, and the implications of such transactions on stakeholders.
