ABSTRACT


Social Science plays a vital role in Legal Studies vis -a vis law. There is interlinking between the interdisciplinary approaches of law. There are many ways by which various methods and approaches that social science and the humanities use to examine legal issues, because after all law is a study of society. The present research Paper will examine laws and potential contributions of social science and the humanities to the development of legal theories and practises, especially the influence they may have on the procedures used in making legal decisions, importance of studying humanities and legal education in Law, impact of social science and the humanities on the development of legal Studies, and the impact of ideas from the social sciences and humanities on various laws and policies, additionally the research paper will use example of judicial precedents highlighting importance of humanities on various different cases.
