Astha Negi & Piyush Jorwal, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi

ABSTRACT

The integration of AI into cybersecurity has introduced a paradigm shift in the digital landscape offering both opportunities and challenges. This paper explores the dimensions of privacy, security, and ethical accountability in the context of AI integration in cybersecurity. It emphasizes the critical importance of robust data protection measures, transparent decision-making processes, and responsible AI development practices to safeguard individual rights and preserve trust in the digital age. By addressing ethical considerations associated with deploying AI-powered cybersecurity systems, implementing comprehensive governance frameworks, and fostering international cooperation, organizations can navigate the complexities of AI integration while upholding ethical standards. The paper underscores the need for clear policies, continuous public awareness initiatives, and proactive measures to ensure the responsible and secure integration of AI in cybersecurity. Ultimately, achieving an ethical AI landscape is crucial for fostering innovation, protecting privacy, and maintaining public trust in the digital era.
