Introduction
Corruption is an illegal criminal act of an individual person or by an organization misuse of entrusted power for private benefit obtains for himself or for any other person any valuable thing or advantage. Corruption is an major problem at global level it is a global phenomenon that causes poverty, obstructs development and it is a worldwide concern at the present time and many factors are responsible for the growing corruption.
Transparency International (TI) - TI is a global organization that is dedicated to fight against corruption. The CPI is based on data from various sources, including surveys of business people and expert in the field (TI) publish report is based on (CPI) corruption perception index which specifies country based on perceived level of corruption in the public sector.
World Bank - The World Bank conducts research on corruption and its impact on development. They also provide support to countries in their efforts to combat corruption, including through technical assistance and financing.
Global Integrity - Global Integrity is an independent organization that works to promote transparency and accountability around the world. They conduct research and publish reports on issues related to corruption and governance.
United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) is a specialized agency of United Nations that is dedicated to combating drug trafficking, organized crime, and corruption. They conduct research and provide technical assistance to countries in their efforts to combat corruption.
Overall, these organizations play an important role in raising awareness about corruption and promoting transparency and accountability in public institutions. Their research can help policymakers and other stakeholders develop effective strategies to address corruption and promote good governance.
