ABSTRACT

This article is about TNRERA especially in relation with administrative law as TNRERA itself is considered as a delegated administrative authority by the author. TNRERA is a regulatory body established along with the enactment of the Tamil Nadu Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Rules, 2017 by the government of Tamil Nadu to regulate the real estate sector and its transactions in a well-manner. This power to establish was given by the parent act – the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2017. TNRERA is situated in Egmore, Chennai.

This article devolves into the authority’s establishment, the powers and functions vested in the authority, in exercising such powers the procedures to be followed by the authority and the restrictions on them. Then, the article is concluded by explaining the remedies available for people and it concerns also about the major issues in the authority.

As this article gives an out-and-out view about the TNRERA, it would be advantageous to all persons engaged in the law field as well as in real estate sector. It is also helpful for the researchers who want to know about this concept wholly. This article hopefully provides a deep understanding to the readers as this article has many sub headings which provides a clear knowledge.
