ABSTRACT

This research paper delves into the multifaceted relationship between technology, data, artificial intelligence, cyber law, and human rights. The unprecedented rate of technological innovation has led to a profound transformation of society, bringing forth opportunities for progress, economic growth, and social justice. At the same time, the rise of new technologies, such as big data, machine learning, and AI, has sparked concerns about their potential impact on human rights and the need for stronger legal and ethical frameworks to govern their development and use.

The paper begins by defining the key concepts of technology, data, AI, cyber law, and human rights, providing a comprehensive overview of their interrelatedness. The rapid advancement of these fields has created new opportunities for enhancing human rights, including the right to education, health, and privacy. At the same time, it has also raised significant ethical and legal concerns, such as the risk of bias and discrimination, the right to a fair trial, and the protection of personal data.

The paper examines the impact of big data and machine learning on human rights. Data-driven decision-making, such as predictive policing and credit scoring, has the potential to reinforce existing patterns of inequality and discrimination.
