ABSTRACT
The constitution of India is the supreme law of India. The document lays down the framework that demarcates the fundamental political code, structure, procedures, powers and duties of government institutions and sets out fundamental rights, directive principles and the duties of citizens. It is a political, social, economic document. It is a unique constitution as it embodies several such silent features which are not contained in the constitution of many countries of the world.
