INTRODUCTION
Reservation policies aim to provide certain benefits and preferences to specific groups, often based on income or social status. However, there are concerns that these policies can lead to injustice or further marginalization of certain groups. The caste system, deeply rooted in India, has led to the classification and alienation of different groups within society. This system has often resulted in discrimination and exploitation, as experienced by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, who fought against untouchability and discrimination.
India's legal principles, inspired by Ambedkar's thoughts, strive for a society where everyone can live with dignity, free from discrimination and exploitation. However, the challenge remains in balancing the need to address historical injustices with ensuring fairness and equal opportunity for all sections of society.
