Transforming Society: The Intersection Of Social Justice, Aid, And Legal Reform

ABSTRACT

A human society is not any absolute concept. It is a reality and keeps on changing in almost all aspects due to its composition. Law follows social change and keeps itself up to-dated with society. If in any case, it lags behind, it remains in statute book but ceases to be effective like dead wood. This research paper examines the dynamic relationship between law and social transformation, highlighting the transformative potential of legal systems within diverse societal contexts. Through an interdisciplinary approach, combining legal, sociological, and anthropological perspectives, this study offers a comprehensive analysis. Main function of law is social control and the main method by which it controls the society is legislation and adjudication. To understand the social change through legal system, it is pertinent to understand that the working of legal system in the light of political, social, economic perspectives which can be seen in the Constitution of India.
