INTRODUCTION

Sports always play an important role in the contribution toward the growth of human civilization right from the beginning. Its roots extend back to the Ancient world where it represents its phenomenal contribution toward the development of basic human skills.

In a country like India, which has a sports history that goes back thousands of years, where we can see its significant and dominance on the human race, which being a part of tradition, culture, finance and entrainment. From the past itself, people were believing in sports as a medium to explore your strength, your significance, and your abilities.

Sports is an activity involving physical efforts in which individuals or teams compete with each other with rules and regulations. Various sports like cricket, badminton, football, hockey, basketball etc, are played at state level, national level, and international level. Sports in India find its place at Entry 33 in the Seventh Schedule under the state list of the Constitution of India. [1]

Sports have now taken a new shape as a form of industry, which we now call the sports industry. Sports now play a huge role in the market where they provide fitness, offer products, services and ideas related to sports, which also involves people, organizations and firms who facilitate, promote, and organize activities and events based on sports.
