A Critical Analysis On Conciliation

ABSTRACT


Alternative dispute resolution has gained a lot of attraction from many big companies as well as people in general. Alternative dispute resolution is providing speedy settlement in cases that are cost effective and also maintain an amicable relationship between parties. This research paper comprises of the basic history and types of alternative dispute resolution. The main focus of the research paper is to get a basic understanding relating to conciliation which is one of the important tools of Alternative dispute resolution, research paper deals with the procedure and basic requirements of the conciliator and how the proceeding shall go ahead. It also deals with the appointment of a conciliator in a settlement agreement and value of the settlement archived during the proceedings. Conciliation is a growing alternative dispute resolution method that is used by various parties because of its flexible nature.
