A Study Of Legal Regulations On Smart Cities In India

ABSTRACT


The study inquires into the complex landscape of legal regulation governing smart cities in India, aiming to provide a comprehensive understanding of the evolving framework. India was the country which are in developing phase, the cities are going to convert in smart cities in urban areas but still rule areas are not developed. It extremely analyze the existing laws, policies and regulatory mechanisms at the national and state levels, encouraging their relevance and effectiveness in the context of advancing smart city technologies. Examining issues such as cyber security, data privacy and urban governance, the research directs the complication in integration of internet devices, AI and other innovative technologies in urban infrastructure.


The study also explores the challenges faces by the intersection of legal norms with the dynamic nature of smart city innovation. A smart city is one that has digital technology embedded across all city functions. The policy makers need to explore new strategies that will allow them to adopt changes quickly that the technology advancement brings. The provision of this study performed will allow effectively improving the mechanism of legal regulations on smart cities in India. This also contributes to the ongoing disclosure on shaping a legal framework that encourages the inclusive development of smart cities in India.
