A Study Of Pros And Cons Of Abrogation Of Article 370 In India

ABSTRACT

Kashmiris have newfound grounds for optimism as they turn to the Indian government for a stable and beautiful future. India's efforts to abolish Article 370 have international support, with the exception of Pakistan and China. Article 370's repeal benefits both peace and economic development. Some Kashmiri Muslims think that the repeal of Article 370 has had a larger negative effect on their way of life than its potential benefits. Improvements in Kashmir will be slow to come. India has taken over the administration of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. “Article 370 of the Indian Constitution was inserted at the suggestion of the J&K constitutional assembly to provide J&K further autonomy”.
