A Study On Critical Analysis Of Jurisdiction Of Courts With Special Reference To Private International Law

ABSTRACT

This study is about the jurisdiction of Courts in the context of private international law. A landmark case of private international law, Pratap Singh vs The Bank of America was taken for this study. Jurisdiction means the extent of power, the court exercise to render the justice. Hypothesis was framed for this study. Ho: The Court have jurisdiction over the Case. H1: The Court do not have Jurisdiction over the Case. The Cause of Action and three-fold restrictions for jurisdiction will be discussed in this paper.
