Riya Thawrani, Symbiosis Law School & Dr. Jerryl Banait, AVI Foundation

Introduction

India have had a very diverse flora and fauna, an amazingly wide variety of wild animals, birds that live in diverse terrains, insects of all sizes and colours and what not. With the course of time, these resources have gotten exhausted, replenished or maybe we can say some species have gotten extinct. Although there is a great deal of efforts being put to save or conserve these, which our ancestors had misused for a number of reasons. But as man got into a civilized society, he discovered the importance of the food chain, the importance of man and wildlife living together with each other with love and peace.
