ABSTRACT


Artificial intelligence (AI) is changing how disputes are resolved. Tools that can read thousands of documents, predict case outcomes, and manage administrative tasks are now entering arbitration, a process where parties choose a private decision-maker instead of going to court. This paper explores what AI can do to improve arbitration and the risks it introduces. While AI can make arbitration faster, cheaper, and more accessible, using it without proper rules could harm the fairness and trust that arbitration relies on. The paper concludes with practical recommendations for responsible progress.
