Awareness Regarding Child Abuse And Good Touch And Bad Touch Between Children

ABSTRACT

We live in a Country where we took the above pledge daily in our schools still all these things happens in our country. No doubt in country like India nowadays we hear about molestation and child abuse from newspaper, radio, media or internet. Every time we read news or use internet there is always a news pop ups about all these things that young children (boys and girls) are sexually molested or abused by some strangers or the adult whom they trust. Do you know what the problem actually is? The problem is that they don’t even feel or realize that something wrong just happened with them.

In India all these things are occurring within the high amount of ratio in outside and even in inside of the family. Many children in India faces this problem may be daily in their surroundings. One report states that one in 9 girls and one in 55 boys are sexually abused before the age of 18. According to some news and records in India 89% children are harassed and molested by the people whom they know and 11% by the strangers. Do you know how this molestation and harassment can affect a child’s mental health, they may end being suicidal or in deep depression, they might not even be able to socialize forever.
