INTRODUCTION


In this case the accused has committed the murder in a most heinous way and a live cobra snake was used as a weapon for murder. The case was occurred in 2020 and judgment was delivered in 2021.The special public prosecutor argued that the murder was committed in a diabolic, brutal, grotesque and abhorrent manner which has shocked “the collective conscience of the society. The case has marked a sensational history in forensic science and in criminal investigation. The scientific evidence and investigation has played a major role in proving the case. The case was around the statement of serpentine curse myth and finally it proved to unravelling merciless murder.
