ABSTRACT
In India, juvenile delinquency is a huge problem that destroys the lives of the majority of the kids. Juvenile criminality and related issues have far-reaching effects for juveniles, their families, and society as a whole. The problem impacts not only the victims of crime, but also the young delinquents' families, their future, and society as a whole. Victims are the most visible persons harmed by juvenile misbehaviour. The most serious consequences of juvenile criminality are socioeconomic and psychological issues that affect their family members and society as a whole. Juveniles participating in robberies, rapes, and assaults are occasionally noteworthy due to psychological issues. Juveniles become addicted to alcohol or other substances as a result of their involvement in illegal activities. The primary goal of this research is to investigate the prevalence of juvenile delinquency from a psychological standpoint. Juveniles who commit significant crimes risk their future in order to protest perceived injustices against them. This causes individuals to experience psychological despair, which leads to their committing additional crimes. In this context, a study on the occurrence of adolescent delinquency is critical in order to understand the causes with regard to psychological views and conditions in society.
