COLLECTIVE BARGAINING

Term Collective bargaining is defined as a mechanism by which employers of an organizations and trade unions can agree on fair wages and working conditions. It is also the basis for building good working relationships.

According to the International Labour Organization (ILO) collective bargaining (CB) is defined as negotiations about working conditions in terms of employment between the following:


1. An employer or group of employers or organizations and

2. A worker or group of workers or organizations.
