ABSTRACT


This research paper explores the critical processes involved in crime scene investigation, emphasizing the significance of securing, documenting, and systematically searching the scene to preserve evidence integrity. By examining the types and classifications of crime scenes, the protection protocols followed by first responders, the multi-layered documentation methods including photography and sketching, and various evidence search strategies, this paper highlights the meticulous coordination essential in forensic investigation. The study underscores the direct link between well- preserved crime scenes and successful criminal prosecutions.
