Counterfeiting In India: How To Combat It?

ABSTRACT

This article is about how counterfeiting has evolved and how it is impacting the Indian economy. It not only emphasizes on legal aspects, but it also emphasizes on other aspects like technology, the Indian economy. It also talks about the how raise of E-commerce has benefited the counterfeiters to manufacture and sell more fake products. The existing laws which are dealing with counterfeiting currency notes and the need of enacting the strict laws to deal with counterfeiting products is also raising as the other nations are trying to affect the Indian economy are mentioned in this research paper. The technology which can be beneficial for our government to detect counterfeit products is also mentioned. This article covers legal, moral, and technological aspects of counterfeiting and to how combat it for the better future.
