ABSTRACT:

This paper provides a concise overview of a comprehensive critical analysis of the issue of sexual harassment in the workplace, emphasizing key aspects and challenges. The phenomenon of sexual harassment remains a pervasive and deeply concerning problem globally, affecting individuals across various industries, genders, and positions.

The analysis explores the multifaceted nature of workplace sexual harassment, examining its definitions, manifestations, and the complex power dynamics that underlie it. It highlights how cultural, societal, and organizational factors can contribute to its occurrence and persistence. Additionally, the analysis scrutinizes the psychological and emotional toll on victims and the adverse effects on their career prospects and well-being.

Furthermore, the study investigates the legal frameworks and policies in place to combat workplace sexual harassment. While many countries have enacted legislation and organizations have developed anti-harassment policies, the critical analysis reveals gaps in implementation, enforcement, and accountability. It underscores the need for a more robust and consistent approach to addressing this issue.

The paper also delves into the role of workplace culture and leadership in either perpetuating or preventing sexual harassment. It examines the importance of fostering a culture of respect, inclusivity, and zero tolerance for harassment, emphasizing the need for proactive measures, education, and awareness campaigns.

In conclusion, this paper underscores the urgency of addressing workplace sexual harassment comprehensively and effectively. It calls for a holistic approach that combines legal, cultural, and social change to create safe and respectful workplaces for all employees, free from the scourge of sexual harassment.
