Emergence Of Sports Law In India: Need Of The Hour

I. ABSTRACT:

This article is the hook that grabs the reader’s attention towards the indispensable need of enactment of legislation in the arena of Indian Sports. This article takes within its fold the international scenario of Sports law and the Indian perspective of the sports law. This article also provides for brief information of The National Sports Ethics Commission Bill, 2016 which is a step to ensure legislation in Indian Sports law. Last but not least this research work provides for reasons for need of sports law in India in order to lessen the degree of such crimes in the sports arena and to establish transparency into the judicial mechanism. The research work is concluded by giving suggestions by the researcher to contribute to the field of Sports law in India.
