Eradication Of Inequality And Fabrication Of Equality In India - A Step By Constitution Framers

ABSTRACT

Inequality is the word in vogue from ancient times to modern times. However, in India, a particular class of people faced a considerable level of discrimination and in-equalities from the olden times due to caste-based discrimination, a prevalent practice followed in India in the olden times. This class of people earlier was given the tag of Harijans. Now they were categorized as backward-class people. Indian society was divided into the upper-caste and lower-caste groups of people, and the Harijans were classified as lower-caste people and were persecuted based on their caste. At the time of the formation of the "Indian Constitution," the Constitution framers to eradicate inequality and fabrication of equality in the country added a provision in the Indian Constitution for eradication of inequality and fabrication of equality in India. So, this notes to study steps the Constitution framers took to eradicate inequality and fabrication of equality in-country. Examines the various provision framed by the Constitution framers while designing the Constitution of India for eradication of inequality and fabrication of equality in the country. With this, it also studies some crucial court precedents, which add value to eradicating inequality and fabricating equality in the country. After reviewing the provisions made by the Constitution framers, by the government, and by the court by way of precedent, this note aims to express a conclusion and observation at the end of this note.
