ABSTRACT


The presence of press freedom is crucial for the advancement of open debate and the establishment of democratic systems. Every individual should be entitled to exercise their right to freedom of speech and enjoy unrestricted freedom of the press, except in cases where limitations are deemed justified. The celebration of press freedom is observed in several Asian nations. Countries such as South Korea and the country of Japan. Nevertheless, a significant proportion of Asian countries continue to be in the same situation. The development of stages aimed at ensuring a comprehensive freedom of the press. In the present study, the authors have This analysis sheds light on the state of press freedom in three prominent Asian nations and explores the manner in which it is being impacted. The governments in question are utilizing their authority in a manner that can be perceived as an abuse of power, resulting in the suppression of certain activities or individuals.
