ABSTRACT


This research paper delves into the dynamic journey of e-commerce in India, tracing its historical relocation from inception to its current state. Beginning with the nascent stages in the late 20th century, the study navigates through key milestones, regulatory shifts, and technological advancements that have shaped the e-commerce landscape. The analysis explores the challenges faced and innovations adopted by industry players, shedding light on the socio-economic impact of e-commerce on Indian consumers and businesses. By offering a comprehensive overview, this research aims to contribute valuable insights into the multifaceted evolution of e-commerce in India, providing a foundation for future studies and strategic considerations in the ever-evolving digital marketplace.
