ABSTRACT
This paper examines the changing aspects of law in a globalized world. It looks at the challenges, necessary reforms, and different perspectives that shape today's legal systems. The main question guiding this study is: How can legal frameworks adjust to the complexities of globalization while ensuring justice, fairness, and sustainability?
The research uses a qualitative approach, focusing on the analysis of international treaties, different legal systems, case law, and policy documents. It also draws insights from economics, sociology, and political science. Key findings show that globalization has blurred jurisdictional lines, increased transnational disputes, and raised the need for harmonized laws in areas like trade, environment, human rights, and cyber governance. The study points out the tension between national sovereignty and international legal norms. It also examines the growing role of technology in changing legal practices. An interdisciplinary approach indicates that legal reforms cannot happen in a vacuum; they must also consider economic efficiency, social justice, and political legitimacy.
In conclusion, the paper argues that flexible, mixed, and cooperative legal reforms are vital to tackle the ongoing challenges of globalization. A forward-thinking, interdisciplinary framework is necessary to ensure that law serves as a tool for global governance while also protecting local identities.
