ABSTRACT


This article offers a comprehensive analysis of the judiciary’s stance on cybercrime, focusing on the measures implemented to protect victims. It examines the role of the Supreme Court and various High Courts in adjudicating cybercrime cases, highlighting the legal remedies extended to affected individuals. Further, this delves into significant judicial interpretations, landmark rulings, and authoritative directives that aim to uphold the rights and interests of victims within the cyber space. Finally, it focuses on a critical evaluation of judicial precedents on cybercrimes and the challenges encountered by the judiciary in such cases.
