ABSTRACT
This research aims to investigate the multifaceted relationship between globalization and the rights of indigenous peoples, focusing on the challenges they face and the opportunities available for advancing justice within this context. Globalization, characterized by increased interconnectedness and integration across borders, has profound implications for indigenous communities worldwide. While globalization brings opportunities for economic development, cultural exchange, and access to global platforms for advocacy, it also poses significant challenges to the preservation of indigenous rights, cultures, and identities. This study will analyze the impact of globalization on indigenous peoples' land rights, traditional knowledge, self-determination, and socio-economic well-being. Additionally, it will explore the role of international law, transnational advocacy networks, and indigenous movements in addressing these challenges and promoting justice for indigenous communities. Through interdisciplinary research methodologies, including legal analysis, case studies, and qualitative interviews with indigenous leaders and activists, this research aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of the complexities surrounding globalization and indigenous peoples' rights and to identify strategies for mitigating negative impacts and harnessing opportunities for justice.
