ABSTRACT


Alternate dispute resolution has become an important aspect in the process of delivering justice to the parties in dispute. The method of mediation is a form of alternate dispute resolution that helps the parties in dispute to try to resolve the dispute with mutual agreement and with the help of guidance from a mediator that can suggest probable ways through which parties can come to a viable solution for the problem that is being faced by them. The present article presents the reader with a discussion on how Alternate Dispute Resolution techniques especially Court referred mediation help the parties in dispute resolution. The research article aims to help readers understand how the process of mediation is helping the parties in dispute to resolve their disputes more speedily manner and what are some of the more important features that make the process of mediation more viable and easier to use for the parties which are in dispute with each other. This research article also aims to understand the practicality of mediation in the present scenario and how it can be further improved in order to encourage more and more people to opt for the same.
