ABSTRACT
Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) has emerged as an indispensable pillar of contemporary education, fostering students' holistic development by equipping them with the emotional and interpersonal competencies essential for academic and professional success. This paper undertakes a comprehensive examination of the theoretical foundations, pedagogical significance, and with a particular emphasis on its application in legal education. By exploring the multifaceted dimensions of SEL—including its cognitive, affective, and behavioral components—this study underscores the necessity of its integration into curricula to cultivate emotionally intelligent individual's adept at navigating the complexities of the 21st-century professional landscape. The discourse further delves into the profound implications of SEL for legal practitioners, highlighting its role in enhancing professional competencies, ethical decision-making, and overall well-being within the legal profession.
