1. ABSTRACT
If we talk about Indian perspective, then we can clearly observe that with regards to advancing gender equality and empowering women across India, with a strategic presence in New Delhi and 14 States, the UN Women India is fully committed to advancing gender equality and at the same time solutions to end women's poverty include investing in policies that address gender inequalities and support women's leadership.By focusing on education, family planning, equal wages, and social benefits, over 100 million women and girls could escape poverty. Additionally, almost 300 million jobs could be created by 2035 through investments in care services. Closing gender gaps in jobs could increase GDP per capita by 20% worldwide. At the 68th Commission on the Status of Women (CSW68), various global stakeholders, including governments, civil society organizations, and activists, will discuss actions to end women's poverty and promote gender equality.
