Influence Of Technology And Artificial Intelligence Impacting The Growth Of Legal Industry

Ishita Malhotra, Symbiosis Law School Pune

Introduction

Numerous sectors, including the legal sector, have been transformed by technology and artificial intelligence (AI). Technology has made it possible for legal professionals to streamline their processes, work more productively, and provide clients with superior services. Contrarily, Science and objectivity has made it possible for legal professionals to automate repetitive tasks, perform more in-depth research, and work more accurately and quickly.

Increased output and efficiency are two of technology's most important effects on the legal sector. Today, legal professionals can automate repetitive and routine duties like document review, contract analysis, and due diligence using cutting-edge software and AI tools. The time and resources needed for these duties have been reduced thanks to automation, freeing up legal professionals to concentrate on more difficult and strategic work.

The precision and caliber of work have both increased as a result of the legal sector's use of technology and AI. Large quantities of data can be analysed more accurately and quickly than ever before by AI-powered tools and software. As a result, the caliber and accuracy of legal labour have improved. AI-powered legal research tools, for instance, can swiftly comb through huge databases of case law and other legal papers, giving attorneys the most pertinent and recent information for their cases.
